Julia Restoin Roitfeld is a French creative director, designer, model, and entrepreneur working atthe intersection of fashion, branding, and visual storytelling. With an international career spanningcreative consulting, design collaborations, modelling, film, and editorial influence, she is recognisedfor her refined aesthetic and strategic approach to building modern yet timeless brands.Julia moved to New York in 2004 to attend Parsons School of Design, where she studied DesignManagement. While studying, she interned at the renowned creative agency Baron & Baron,gaining early experience in image-making, branding, and the world of luxury fashioncommunications. Upon graduating in 2006, she began her career at Laird + Partners whilesimultaneously founding her own creative agency, Global Design Inc., a consultancy specialisingin creative strategy, brand positioning, and visual communication for fashion, beauty, and lifestylebrands.Through Global Design Inc., Julia has worked with clients including Max Mara, Jean PaulGaultier, and Moda Operandi. From 2006 to 2011, she also served as a freelance consultant forMiu Miu, contributing to the brand’s creative direction, special projects, buyouts, and growthduring a defining period for the house.Julia has collaborated with brands on capsule collections and design partnerships including Iris &Ink, Hervé Léger, LoveShackFancy, and a childrenswear line for River Island, bringing hersignature blend of Parisian sophistication and contemporary femininity to each project. She alsodesigned two collections for jewellery brand Didier Dubot, further expanding her creative workinto fine accessories and design.Her creative work also extends to film, having directed a short film for Stuart Weitzman featuringPoppy Delevingne and Dylan Penn.Modelling has always run in parallel to Julia’s creative career. She began modelling at a young age,with her first campaign for A.P.C. in 1996. In 2006, she was chosen as the first face of Tom Ford’sBlack Orchid fragrance, and later walked Tom Ford’s first New York runway show in 2011. Shehas since been featured in campaigns and editorial projects for leading international housesincluding Lancôme, Givenchy, Jil Sander, De Beers, Bulgari, and Tom Ford, establishing astrong presence both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.Julia has also appeared on the covers of leading international publications, including i-D,photographed by Mario Sorrenti, Madame Figaro, Elle France, photographed by PamelaHanson, as well as titles such as Vogue Turkey, Harper’s Bazaar Russia, The Edit, and GraziaSpain.She is also the founder of Less is More, a platform dedicated to sustainable living and consciouslifestyle choices, as well as Romy and the Bunnies, a lifestyle platform inspired by motherhood,fashion, and modern family life.In 2020, Julia moved to London, where she continues to expand her international creative workacross consulting, design, and entrepreneurial ventures.Known for her timeless sensibility and global perspective, Julia continues to partner with brandsand creative ventures that value authenticity, innovation, and enduring style.
