With a career spanning over 69 years, in 2015 Daphne entered the Guinness World Book of Records as the World’s Oldest Supermodel.

Photographed by Mario Testino, Nick Knight and David Bailey, not only has Daphne modelled for Dolce and Gabbana, Red or Dead and high-street outlets such as Gap and TK Maxx – but she has also published an anecdotal recount of her long-standing relationship with fashion in the anecdotal ‘The Way We Wore’.

In 2019, Daphne was awarded a British Empire Medal for her contributions to fashion that have been so crucial in helping to promote opportunities for older women in the industry.
